The Green Ministry provides for the knowledge and stewardship of having a sustainable environment through education and outreach efforts to FBC members and the surrounding community .
We provide understanding of the relationship we have with God and nature, so that our environment is preserved for generations to come.
FBC partners with Department of Water in the District of Columbia in using water wells as a means to conserve water runoff for rain gardens located on the FBC grounds; as well as sustainable plants are used to protect the soil and other vegetation. This is used as a visual method of utilizing a sustainable environment to the surrounding community.
